We all know now that the World Wide Web contains a wealth
of useful information and how dependent it can be for most of us. The majority of households now own a computer and
are always tapping away at the keyboard searching for that special something. Our website is purely a dedicated restaurant
information guide and finder. It is unlike many other websites that provide similar information but cluttered
with vast amounts of useless and uninteresting information to confuse and steer people away from what they
originally intended to do. Enter a few search details or browse the maps to locate a restaurant either locally or
around the country and you'll find a wealth of useful information regarding your chosen restaurant.
Everyone advertises on the Internet nowadays, so what makes us special to everyone else who has the same idea?
We all know how frustrating and expensive it can be to get your restaurant advertised. Our domain name speaks for
itself, which is why we can be easily found. It is easily remembered, easily spelt and is focussed solely on food,
wine and restaurants. Our website has only one purpose and that is to serve you by advertising your restaurant and
to offer a wealth of information specifically about your restaurant at an affordable price that cannot be matched by
any other restaurant information website. Many competitors are offering far less restaurant information at a
staggering cost, our service is only a fraction of the price and provides much more useful information. Once you
become a member of our service, it does not end there. We will help you to get your restaurant noticed and that is
better business for both you and for us – that is our business policy.
You're probably asking yourselves, 'how can prospecting customers find us out there on the World Wide Web'.
Well the answer is simple. Our advertisement campaign consists of advertising on
other high-ranking websites both in the UK and USA (overseas customers will know about you too), in magazines,
eventually on trains, overhead banners and hopefully our next step would be on TV. This can only occur with your
help to get you noticed for better business.

We also advertised our site on a prestigious web directory. A quarter of a million copies will be distributed all around
London. Around 100,000 copies will be distributed equally around all the major London railway and
underground stations. Around 25,000 copies will be mailed to private mailing lists. Another 25,000
copies will be left at branches of Tesco's and Sainsbury's supermarkets.
Other effective means of advertisement are still being considered and researched. We are doing our best to get
noticed which will in turn get you thoroughly noticed.
Our website design is user friendly (making it easier to navigate compared to many out there that are confusing and
annoying) and we use the latest technology in website design that allows restaurant information to be found very
quickly, you'll be amazed at the speed of the response. Recently, someone saw our website name and wanted to buy it
straight away for a fee we can not disclose, but of course it wasn't for sale, so what does that tell you? We were
proud of that anyway, it made us feel somewhat special.
We are a new and exciting website that has been in business since March 2000. We intend to make a mark in the
restaurant information guide industry with explosive results. It is planned that once we have established a large
database of restaurants, prospecting customers will be able to book-a-table in your restaurant by using a simple
online form. This is at present under development to those who already own an email account and a computer that is
immediately available for access at their restaurant. Help can be given to those who wish to set one up, free of
charge. In the meantime, let us know your views by contacting bat@eatingspot.com.
All this doesn't end here; our website will of course be constantly updated both
visually and in functionality. It will only get better and more powerful as time goes by, which is a positive sign
for your restaurant.
