As with many other websites, we do not include any review and ratings on our website, be it personal (agent) or consumer focused. We researched and thought about this thoroughly and found that most of the ratings information we have seen so far were found to be inconsistent. Let's take a typical example of two types of people eating at the same restaurant at the same time: Person 'A' immensely enjoyed the service and the food Person 'B' totally disliked the service and the food What does this tell you? Well, at the moment not much really, we could say that person 'A' was served by a very kind and helpful waiter/waitress that got on well with person 'A' and that the food person 'A' ate at that particular moment was thoroughly enjoyable, we can go on and on here. Person 'B' was served by another waiter/waitress who was going through a hard time, the food did not agree with Person 'B' at that particular moment and in general Person 'B' was in a foul mood, etc., it happens a lot, we've seen it many times, hey, it also happens to us. Now does this make more sense? Of course this explanation may not be entirely correct, there can be many others reasons why, all we are doing here is trying to prove a point. Therefore we do not want to misrepresent a restaurant in terms of the above. We are all different in some way or another, we have different tastes in food, we mood swing from time to time and feel uncomfortable in strange surroundings which, is why we can never judge a restaurant in this way, it is not fair to you and to our listed restaurant, hence this is the reason why we are not including this part. Our website is designed to be a restaurant information guide, enabling you to find a wealth of information on everything to do with food & drink from any restaurant, anywhere in the UK that is found on our database. Searching for restaurants are categorised into two sections; one is searched by a map of the area in question and the other by entering or selecting text to get precise details of a restaurant. Whichever way you do it, you'll notice that you'll find everything and much more than you ever thought possible from just one restaurant. We are not here to bore you but give you a wealth of information that you may find interesting. Not all restaurants will give us the information we require from them. If you cannot see it, it means they either haven't provided it or we haven't yet listed them fully on our database. There is also a Food & Wine section which we think is the icing on the cake. Have you ever wondered what type of wine, goes with what type of food or dish? Well now you will, search for either a particular wine or a particular dish or a type of food and it will tell you what goes with what. You can even impress your friends at dinner parties, the world's your oyster. |
